Service Line Overview
KPMG China has experienced forensic resources based in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. We provide clients with commercial and financial expertise in the areas of Anti-money Laundering/ Counter Terrorist Financing and Sanctions Compliance Services, Fraud Risk Management, Forensic Technology, Investigations, Cyber Response and Forensic Accounting services. We worked with industry professionals in Asia Pacific, and worldwide through the KPMG International Forensic network of over 3,600 professionals to conduct successful enquiries and analyze financial information across numerous jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, professional day-to-day execution of forensic engagements and projects in line with the firm's risk management practices for clients across a wide range of industries
  • You will work across our team of specialists in the following areas:
    • Anti-Money Laundering/ Counter Terrorist Financing & Sanctions
    • Forensic Technology
    • Investigations
    • Cyber Response
    • Market Manipulation
    • Financial Crime Regulatory Technology & Transformation
    • Environmental, Sustainability & Governance

Experience & Background
  • A bachelor's degree holder or above in Accountancy, Journalism, Legal, Data/Computer Science, Information Security, Information Management or equivalent or related disciplines.
  • Minimum one year relevant experience in an advisory firm (Big 4, mid-tier or general consultancy) in either industry and/or professional services in at least one of the following areas:
    • Anti-Money Laundering or Financial Intelligence & Investigations
    • Cyber Response or Cyber Threats
    • Anti-Bribery & Corruption
    • Fraud Risk
    • Market Surveillance
  • MS Office Knowledge is a Pre-requisite. Candidates with other skills such as those below will also be considered:
    • Coding and Programming
    • Advance Excel Macros and Scripts
    • Data Visualization
    • Machine Learning
  • Quick learner, ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality work
  • Good communication skills in English and team player
