Overview

An established corporate bank is seeking to hire a Head of Credit Risk Management for a variety of Credit Risk Management responsibilties including Credit Risk Framework and Policy, Credit Risk Stress Testing, Credit Risk Management Project, Credit Risk System Maintenance to perform active portfolio review, provide credit risk internal control testing and provide continuous credit control and monitoring expertise.

Role Responsibilities
  • You will lead the Credit Risk Management department to conduct consistent portfolio review on bank assets quality and identify borrowers risk level in order to adopt de-risk strategy.
  • Monitoring and managing the branch's credit risk-related Risk Appetite Limit, credit risk concentration, counterparty credit risk, ESG risk and special assets etc.
  • Conduct internal control testing in order to ensure effective enforcement of credit risk policy and procedure
  • Review internal guidelines, procedures, policies and external regulations are complied
  • Proactive management on all Early Warnings accounts to avoid further deterioration in asset quality.
  • Handle the internal and external audit activities

Requirements
  • University graduate in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or related disciplines;
  • CFA / FRM / ECF-CRM / ECF-TM candidate or holder preferable
  • 15-20+ years' solid experience in credit risk management, post-approval credit control and risk monitoring, commercial lending, credit risk management, HKMA loan classification and IFRS Credit Risk
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Good knowledge on commercial banking products with familiarity with local credit regulatory regime and experience with regulator an added advantage.
  • Solid risk management knowledge and skill with particular focus on credit risk management
  • Knowledge on Basel II / III / IV within context of credit risk management
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
