Risk Manager - Established Asset Manager

Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and implement enhancements to the current risk management processes and tools
Work closely with various teams to understand the investment processes and products, and identify potential risks in different risk aspects including investment risk, liquidity risk, operational risk, business risk, etc
Ensure and maintain integrity of risk and performance reporting (data sources, data maintenance, data analysis and flows)
Measure and assess portfolio risk and performance across different asset classes and investment strategies
Perform performance attribution / contribution and active risk analysis
Perform investment guidelines monitoring (Pre and Post Trades) and implement appropriate procedures to follow-up any breach cases
Provide periodic risk and performance reports to internal stakeholders and external clients
Deal with queries from regulators and auditors relating to regulatory and audit reports

Requirements:

University Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other relevant studies
6-8 years relevant risk management experience in Asset Management, fund house or related industry
CFA or FRM qualification is preferred but not necessary
Strong product knowledge in equities, exchange traded funds, derivatives risk management and portfolio risk analysis
Strong knowledge of Excel with VBA programming an advantage
A team leader with effective communication skills
Strong presentation and communication skills in fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin)
