Junior Dealer - Fixed Income

Position  : Junior Dealer - Fixed Income

Location : Mumbai

What you need to have :

- Ideally 4-7 years of experience in a Fixed Income trading environment

- Experience trading bonds and other fixed income instruments

- Good  Excel skills

- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate views on investments

- Sound understanding of Fixed Income business with a willingness to improve your knowledge further

- Ability to work accurately under pressure and time constraints and to multi-task well

What we need you to do :

- Assist the senior dealing team with trade generation and execution

- Provide direct and/or backup support on incoming and outgoing trade calls

- Ensure that internal colleagues and external client inquiries are handled in a timely manner

- Gather, organize and communicate inquiries from clients and assist in selling bonds from firm inventory or market counterparties

- Assist with identifying value generating investment ideas

- Work with internal back office/trade settlement teams to address any issues related to the timely settlement of fixed income trades

- Maintain a working knowledge of macro-economic news and trends

- Participate and contribute to the various strategic initiatives; keep enhancing and evolving processes and the business setup
