The Job

• Responsible and accountable for the preparation and review of financial reports to internal and external parties
• Key areas include reporting of investment assets by different attributes, investment return analysis, reconciliations and journal entries input
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial information to Group Office and management
• Provide investment asset analysis and reports to regulators and stakeholders including credit agencies
• Involve and act as subject matter expert in projects related to investment accounting sub-ledger
• Participate in IFRS9 implementation and transition projects
• Perform and review financial control to meet audit requirements
• Liaise with different departments to gather information for reporting and analysis purposes
• Perform ad hoc task when requested

The Person

• Degree or above from recognized university
• Professional qualification of recognized accounting bodies
• 8+ years accounting experience, preferably in investment accounting and/or insurance industry
• Solid knowledge related to IAS 39 and IFRS 9 standards and investment instruments
• Strong sense of ownership of assigned task and awareness of submission timeline
• Well-organized and detail-minded
• Proficient in excel, Bloomberg and ledger systems
• Experience in Oracle, Hyperion and/or PAM is a plus
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager position
