Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.

Job Description
As a core member of the Cash Product team, you have three primary responsibilities:
  1. Product Management of the Account Services and Liabilities Product Suite - responsible for new product development, rollout, digitisation & strategy formulation, focusing on deposit products
  2. Product Commercialisation & Strategic Initiatives - lead product commercialisation and drive strategic initiatives to accelerate and achieve ambitious growth in the corporate liabilities business which is one of DBS' strategic focuses
  3. Product support for Liquidity Management - support rollout of new liquidity management enhancements, sales deals & commercialisation

Responsibilities
  • Formulate value proposition and lead new product rollout and commercialisation initiatives in response to markets' and customers' needs
  • Drive market research to understand market landscape, identify trends and market viability to ensure competitiveness of our product suite
  • Develop and execute product/ pricing strategy to garner new deposits and achieve target growth in market share
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners for the development, management and timely delivery of liabilities products. Take ownership, shape and communicate vision and mission to all stakeholders in order to guide the success of new product rollout and commercialisation
  • Partner with data analytics teams to identify leads for growing operating balances and enhance cross-sell through data-driven operating model
  • Drive campaigns and other commercialisation activities in close collaboration with marketing
  • Support origination efforts for liabilities related deals by closely working with sales, implementation and relationship managers
  • Responsible for P&L of the account services and liabilities portfolio; conduct in-depth deposit portfolio analysis to drive revenue
  • Act as back-up for the liquidity management product manager, to drive commercialisation and support sales & RMs in deals when required
  • Provide business requirements, conduct user acceptance tests, live verification; ensure completeness, integrity, usability of our solutions and product enhancements to deliver excellent customer journey and user experience
  • Drive digitisation initiatives of deposit products via online channel to promote the sustainability agenda and achieve strategic cost reduction
  • Manage account services/ deposits enquiries, legal documentation, product issues and drive resolution
  • Ensure clear understanding of product capabilities across various customer touch-points, including relationship managers, sales, and client management though proactive communication and training programs
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant banking experience with strong commercial acumen
  • Experience in product development and commercialisation
  • Knowledge in Account Services and Liabilities product
  • Knowledge in Liquidity Management would be a plus
  • Strong data analytical skills with ability to identify trends, make business conclusions and provide actionable insights from data
  • Excellent communication, relationship & people skills to build relationships with key stakeholders and influence stakeholders to take actions
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability and willingness to learn and absorb knowledge quickly, and put it into practice
  • Proactive self-starter.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. Fluent Cantonese and Mandarin would be preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in areas of Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or related majors preferred.
