Corporate Strategy & Investment Director [Leading Energy company]
Our client is one of leading energy and commodity company with global operation. As part of the group's expansion, growth, and diversification plans. You will report to the group's investment committee and will be responsible for defining and executing on the strategy to identify opportunities with good strategic value, profit generating capability or where there is significant amount of unrealized value and or synergy with the group's existing businesses
Develop comprehensive investment materials that quantitatively address opportunities and risks (including recommendation memos, financial models, and thought-provoking presentation materials) for presentation internally, with partners, and financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Skills/ Experience
MBA or master's degree in finance, economics, qualification (CPA, CFA) with minimum 15 years' successful and proven buy-side experience garner from private equity, in-house corporate development, management consulting, investment bank, transaction advisory or financial sponsor
Seasoned professional in corporate development strategies, merger & acquisition processes, business / project economics, risk analysis and investment evaluation in financial markets with sound understanding of capital markets, credit, and market risk, legal.
Possess an extensive personal network of senior contacts across the businesses, governments, banks. Adaptable, tenacious, self-starter and self-reliant with a proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team
Have an analytical mind and an eye for detail, with a desire to probe further into data, and synthesize it into actionable information with a clear content and messaging
You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with problem-solving skill. Intellectual curiosity, strong professional judgment, work independently and have initiative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage corporate finance, origination, strategic planning, and deal execution teams to ensure excellence in deal execution.
- Engage senior stakeholders to map and define corporate growth and diversification strategies, opportunities selection criterion and deal execution approaches.
- Map, source, identify, negotiate, structure, and execute strategic partnerships, acquisitions, mergers, spin-offs, and joint ventures across geographies, industries, etc.
- Promote, represent, and enhance company reputation internally and externally with industry counterparties, banks, and government, staying abreast of developments across the targeted industrial domains to ensure the company is well-positioned.
