State Street Global Advisors is looking for a detail-oriented, experienced and savvy individual to work as a specialist on its Data Operations Team. The individual will be responsible for managing the integrity of our investment data across multiple platforms and in multiple contexts and driving improvements in current processes. To do so, the individual will be responsible for collaborating with our internal teams across several functions - Operations, Client Services, Portfolio Management, Risk, Compliance, IT, and Procurement - on business initiatives and to resolve issues. As data is vital to the investment decision making process, the individual should look for opportunities to improve data quality, which supports our overall client objectives. The role will include collaborating with multiple teams across State Street to resolve market reference data issues. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

As Data Operations Analyst, you will:
  • Manage and maintain the accuracy of security, index, and benchmark master reference data across our portfolio management and recordkeeping platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data-related issues / concerns / exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with colleagues on offshore Data Hub team to manage BAU tasks.
  • Participate in client on-boarding meetings, collaborating with internal teams to coordinate business requirements.
  • Coordinate index and benchmark onboarding events with the State Street Global Procurement team and platform owners.
  • Perform tasks in support of the Insurance Portfolio Management Team.
  • Execute daily pricing control activities, review and resolve exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Seek ways to improve and optimize existing processes and improve data quality.

These skills will help you succeed in this role:
  • Experienced in market reference data management.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • A high-level of familiarity with and understanding of the investment products common to the Asset Management Industry.
  • Experience using Bloomberg.
  • Skilled in managing BAU tasks with competing priorities in fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in improving process automation.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 2 years of experience in Operations within the Asset Management and/or Financial Services industries
