We are looking for an experienced consultative sales professional with a track record of selling into UK focused financial institutions to join our well-regarded team. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships with the UK institutional Buy/Sell side client base, as well as experience with research and analytics tools like Factset, Bloomberg or Reuters. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to join a dynamic sales team, which is highly respected by both institutional clients and corporates alike. We are open to candidates with UK financial PR experience or corporate broking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and build relationships with institutional clients, both new and existing
  • Present and sell bespoke, alpha generating equity and macro analytics data sets to Buy side and Sell side customers focused purely on UK Residential Real Estate
  • Advise clients on alpha generating capabilities of our platform especially Equity and Alternatives teams that have exposure to UK Real Estate space
  • Meet with clients to assess their bespoke data requirements and present them our offering suite to boost alpha as well enhance their sales side research capabilities with our data and analytics offering
  • Leading the pitching process and building a strong pipeline of clients interested in our data to supplement their trading strategies, signal improvement as well as cross selling research.

Essential Requirements:
  • Experience in selling in or to the financial markets
  • Proven consultative sales skills, including competitive market research, lead generation, prospecting, business development and closing sales
  • Proven ability in accurate pipeline management from initial lead to close
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships both externally and internally
  • Outstanding presentation, training and communication skills
  • The availability for regular travel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Bloomberg and other information sources
  • Highly numerate, detail oriented and logical
  • Able to work alone and be responsible end to end
  • Able to analyse and absorb financial information
  • Confident with highly developed communication skills; persuasive and good listener
  • Excellent understanding of different investment sectors
  • Highly discrete with good judgement
  • High energy levels and stamina
  • Able to plan own time effectively to ensure all information delivered error free and on time
  • Proven track record as effective team member
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is beneficial.

Good to have:
  • Knowledge of the Residential property market and/or Residential property valuations process
  • Formalised value-based sales training or telephone selling skills
  • Salesforce experience and wider sales reporting/forecasting experience
  • Bloomberg or Factset sales experience.
