Business Area
As a software engineer in this role, you will support the Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) business and trading systems. Your focus will be on delivering new software capabilities to the existing platform, as well as integration work with other order management systems and execution platforms.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain various trading systems used by Portfolio Managers, Trading Assistants, Account Managers, and Operations users
• Development on the platform will be done in C# .NET and Python
• Work with project managers, technical leads and business owners to understand business processes and workflows.

Position Requirements:

Key Qualifications

• We encourage you to apply whether you meet all or some of these key qualifications:
• You will have a BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Math. Advanced degree is a plus.
• You have 1+ years' recent hands on development experience using with C# / .Net, JavaScript, Python. Experience implementing platforms using a micro-service architecture using REST and messaging technologies.(AMPS, TIBCO, MQ, etc.,)
• Previous experience working in an agile environment

Nice to have, or ready to learn on the job

• Experience in Financial Industry a plus; front office technology highly preferred.
• Previous experience with developing multithreaded and distributed applications required
