Intact Investment Management LLC is a new subsidiary of Intact Financial Corporation (IFC). We are currently looking for a Senior Credit Analyst as part of our Fixed Income Portfolio Management Team.
 
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income, the Senior Credit Analyst will be a significant contributor to the US fixed income team. Intact is seeking a credit analyst to support our corporate bond portfolios. The position is responsible for analyzing investment grade and non-investment grade companies and providing investment recommendations for both investment grade and non-investment grade portfolios. 
 
Responsibilities: 

  • Support the active management of U.S. investment grade fixed income mandates
  • Perform fundamental credit analysis, security valuation and portfolio positioning for assigned sectors
  • Trade fixed income instruments including Treasury securities, investment grade and non-investment grade corporate bonds
  • Build and maintain financial statement models, credit screening tools and credit opinions
  • Develop portfolio and maintain portfolio management and risk management tools
  • Present to senior management and head of fixed income

 
Education & Experience: 

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Corporate credit underwriting experience
  • Experience with fixed income securities and terminology
  • Passion for investments and performance driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to make concise arguments with conviction
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills including and understanding of financial accounting
  • Team player
