What you will be responsible for
As Business/Operational Auditor, Assistant Vice President you will
- Plan, execute and complete audits in accordance with our risk based methodology, highlighting internal control improvements that may include operational enhancements or efficiencies.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination with business management at all levels
- Develop a good understanding and knowledge base of the company's operations, establish effective business relationships within the company and assist management in the understanding and adaptation of internal control principles.
- Take part in various CASS related audit projects, providing subject matter expertise and managing a team of audit professionals in executing all project phases and key milestones.
- From time to time you may be involved in additional non-CASS related projects.
- Work in partnership with audit and business stakeholders to communicate expectations and manage any project issues that may arise throughout the audit.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant experience in the financial services industry
- Demonstrable experience and background in UK CASS regulations (circa 3 to 5 years), preferably within a third line of defense role. Consideration will be given to candidates with CASS experience in either a first or second line of defense role who are able to show a good understanding of risks and controls.
- Additional experience with other EMEA regulations will be an advantage.
