Our client is a market leading, financial services group and global investment bank, who are based in Tokyo with regional headquarters in Hong Kong, London, and New York.

About the team

This exciting role sits within our client's Group IT Strategy team, who will work on a corporation change which is "how to improve the current quality of our bank".

Currently, they are gathering many PM/PMO as found members of the team. They are looking for someone who can bring new ideas and technology, such as cloud, digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

Providing services for project management support as a PMO specialist for Group IT Strategy Department. Task shall include but not be limited to the following in accordance with discussion and mutual agreement between Company and Supplier:
  • Perform project management office role to help Group IT Strategy Department to define the overall high-level group IT Strategy.
  • Help to organize work stream level meeting/activities to drive out the detail strategy
  • Help the strategy planning to firm up the roadmap / timelines
  • Support for overall project management work for the group IT Strategy projects.
  • Help the project/portfolio reporting to IT senior management.
  • Support Project Managers and follow up status, assignments, budget, actual cost and the forecast.
  • Support tasks and attend meetings with the objective to confirm project progress.
  • Share and enhance project governance to project managers.
  • Support IT Processes in accordance with project requirements as needed.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication ability
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • 4+ years of project management and related experience
  • Experience managing software development projects and working with developers
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills and able to organize information
