The Equities business is seeking an experienced project management professional to join our PMO in APAC.The Equities business includes Cash Equities, Equity Derivatives, Delta One, Prime Finance, Futures and Global Sales. As the local and global representation for Equities, this role will participate in various management committees that cross the business as well as the second line of defense.The role will manage cross equity platform projects, including regulatory related, business optimization and data work.The candidate will work closely with the regional and global CAO teams to scope, define and implement these key initiatives.
Such projects may include participating in or managing local and global initiatives.
  • Coordinate / Consolidate the Asia book of work into the global agenda
  • Create best practices for project management for the Asia CAO/Business to allow for better execution of initiatives
  • Help to run / drive core initiatives for the Asia Equities business as listed above
  • Consent Order Remediation, and other key global regulatory initiatives
  • Global cross Equity core and strategic projects
  • Business optimization initiatives
The responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple complex projects and/or special assignmentsconcurrently
  • Act as a strategic thought leader from project conception through implementation
  • Identify critical stakeholders and delivereffectivecommunication (written and verbal) to all levels including executive management
  • Collaborate across the Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, Data Privacy, Market Data, Legal, Compliance, Credit Organization, In-Business Controls, and In Business Risk organizations
  • Drive projectand business requirements; includes interviewing business process or products owners, authoring requirements, scope, gaining approvals, updating project scope changes
  • Maintain and distribute meeting minutes, project summaries and project documentation. Delivereffectivecommunication (written and verbal) to all levels including management
  • Communicate to executive teams utilizing dashboards, decks and/or material appropriate for senior leadership review and discussions; develop metrics/measurements as needed
  • Review IT design and technical documents to ensure theyeffectivelymeet business/operational needs based on project requirements
  • Track,update, escalate and communicate project issues, risks and gaps, and action items while driving identification of priority and project or program impact
  • Develop and execute project plans, conduct follow ups and update project documentation in accordance with established processes
  • Through allstagesof the project serve as the Business liaison which includes attending all project meetings, making key project decisions, identifying Business owners, escalating Business risks and issues, taking responsibility to deliver Business tasks
  • Drive post implementation tasks, archive documents, participate in lessons learned meetings, project rollout and post- implementation product results tracking
  • Oversee and govern Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) specific to product, if required
  • Perform BAU and project management duties
  • Draft and manage relevant related initiatives through the regional New Products Approval (NPA) process, Cross Border Data and Privacy Risk assessments, when necessary

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree with a strong academic record, advanced degree (a plus)
  • 5 or more years project management, or business analyst experience
  • Experience of Asian markets and Equities businesses such as Prime, Derivatives and Cash
  • Experienced at creating, publishing, updating and communicated projectrequirements, project plans, test and mitigation plans
  • Experienced at summarizing and clearly articulating issues and risks to project team and management
  • Experience managing projects in a regulatory required control environment
  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation including standard operating procedures and requirements documents
  • A strong understanding of business procedures, financial services, and technical terminology
  • Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills
  • People/Teammanagement and large scale planning experience
  • Has organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills
  • Understands waterfall and agile practices and principles
  • Proficient in MSPPT, Word,Excel.Visio.Comfortable with SharePoint (DESIRED - NOT REQUIRED)
  • Knowledge of Process Management dashboards and developing new measurements
  • Domain knowledge and experience in one of the following areas is helpful: Regulatory, Tax, Finance, Risk, Credit Management, Data Management
