Exchange & Contributed Pricing Team:

The Exchange & Contributed Pricing ("ECP") team, within the Enterprise Content Business, is focused on providing pricing datasets across all listed and non-listed securities. We have built a best-in-class data product offering that services client demand for completeness, timeliness and high-quality pricing data. The business is core to our Enterprise Data offering with many asset categories including, equities & indices, fixed income securities and listed & OTC derivatives.

The Role:

We are looking for an exceptional Product Manager with strong knowledge around pricing of all types of financial instruments. The individual will enhance & expand our Pricing product offerings, with a view to increase client adoption and data usage.

As our clients expand their business models and where they allocate capital, we want to be a trusted data and content partner and a thought leader when it comes to building enterprise quality solutions they can rely on Pricing, Reference Data & Analytics.

You will have verifiable experience and a deep understanding of how financial instruments are traded, analyzed and marked-to-market. You will also be expected to have knowledge of how market and pricing data is used by both buy & sell side institutions across the trade life cycle - market making, risk management, investment analysis, research & IPV functions. You are curious, creative and passionate about building best-in-class enterprise data products that solves client needs. You are current on industry trends and are able to understand the diverse and often complex use cases within this space and are able to build partnerships with clients to understand their problems and challenges.

You will be responsible for documenting our target client challenges and needs, and then the design, prioritization, milestones and execution of a strategy and product rollout in collaboration with core and extended stakeholders. This will include defining product level and overall go-to-market and success metrics.

We will trust you to:

  • Define and articulate clear strategies, goals and initiatives that drive predefined and clearly articulated business outcomes
  • Display product management skills and effectively manage data product specification, prioritization, and backlog by continually addressing business needs through an agile process
  • Partner with Engineering, Support organization and Data operations to ensure deliverables are well understood, and align with the overall business goals
  • Develop a strong relationship with a core group of clients that will partner with us to expand our understanding of their key challenges and evolve our offering through ongoing dialogue and experimentation to systematically solve their challenges
  • Be the subject matter expert, as well as the accessibility, usability, quality, tools and services available to clients that allow them to deepen their interaction and usage of our content
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to promote and attain our desired business outcomes and continuously drive adoption
  • Strong communication and networking skills with the ability to distill complex topics into an easy to understand narrative. Drive an agenda and influence our stakeholders to deliver on our strategies, goals and initiatives.

You'll need to have:

  • 5 years' experience as a Product Manager or related role.
  • A deep understanding of exchange listed (equities, futures and options, etc.) and fixed income products, as well as the way in which market participants trade and risk manage these instruments across buy-side and sell-side and the role of custodians, fund administrators and prime brokers.
  • An understanding of how enterprise clients identify, test, and evaluate financial datasets across vendors before making purchasing decisions and basic concepts of data pipelines including data lakes, data warehouses, ETL, normalization, linkage, etc.
  • Proficient with statistics and data science techniques and tools such as Python, R, cloud computing, SQL preferred
  • Understand agile principles and have prior experience working with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects and initiatives
