VP Operational Risk - Shared Services

A top American Investment Bank is looking to hire a VP of Operational Risk to sit in their Dallas office. This person will be responsible for providing oversight of Operational Risk frameworks across Shared Services (HR, Tax, Compliance, Legal, etc.), will act as a liaison between Risk and the business units, and will be responsible for presenting issues and remediation plans to key stakeholders and senior management.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in Risk Management, Operations, Audit, Compliance, or Consulting, the ability to present to senior management, and strong Excel & SQL skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd line oversight of Operational Risk frameworks for the firm's Shared Services
• Work closely with the first line to identify, assess, challenge, and mitigate Operational Risks
• Conduct RCSAs, scenario analysis, and review/evaluate new business initiatives
• Act as a liaison between ORM and senior stakeholders to develop and strengthen frameworks
• Present findings to senior management and key stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 4+ years in Risk Management, Operations, Audit, Compliance, or Consulting
• Strong executive-level presence and the ability to collaborate and present to senior management/key stakeholders
• Proficiency in Excel & SQL
• Prior experience in Shared Services would be a plus
