Business Analyst - Hedge Fund

Responsibilities

• Learn the firm's current suite of systems related to the transfer agency system built on Salesforce

• Handle ad-hoc and project requests from business units

• Author business requirements documentation

• Work with senior members of the Business Technology team to deliver software solutions

• Provide software and subject matter expertise to support end-users

• Provide clarification of requirements to technical members of the team

• Lead user-acceptance testing to ensure quality solutions are delivered

• Projects:

• Proprietary transfer agency system built on Salesforce

• Various transfer agency system related interfaces

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or computer science from top-tier university

Preferred Experience:

• 2+ years of total professional experience

• 2+ years of business analysis or project management experience at a hedge fund, mutual fund, fixed income asset manager, investment bank, broker-dealer, or financial software/data vendor

• 2+ years of experience with any of the following types of systems:

• Salesforce

• Portfolio Accounting

• Tableau

Business Knowledge & Skills

• Good understanding of investor capital activities

• Knowledge of Portfolio Accounting

• Ability to maintain productive relationships within the business

• Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements
