Coverage encompasses Energy, Infrastructure, Transport, Telecoms and Power.
Principal responsibilities of the Vice President
My client is targeting someone whose profile demonstrates:
• Excellent financial analysis skills
• Solid Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) skills, gained from either a product or sector team, preferably within the Power and Utilities sector
• Proven deal execution track-record through previous hands-on experience
• Good knowledge of compliance, key applicable laws, rules and regulations
In order to be considered for this role you will have:

Principal responsibilities of the Vice President
- Contribute to the origination of transactions for M&A London: lead preparation of marketing pitches in full co-ordination with seniors, including in particular sector analysis, asset review, financial analysis, modelling and valuation;
- Lead the execution of M&A mandates (buy side or sell side) as 'deal captain': process design, supervision of modelling and valuation analysis, review and guidance on transaction support documents (information memoranda and management presentations), interactions with other legal, financial and technical advisors, regular contact with clients
- Participate in the day-to-day life of the department as well as in the recruitment and mentoring of juniors

In order to be considered for this role you will have:
- Minimum 6 years' experience in M&A in a globally recognised financial institution or financial services firm
- Strong experience in infrastructure and or power and utility sectors
- Strong track record of closed M&A transactions
- Experience of origination
- Excellent knowledge of valuation and modelling techniques, as well as financial theory and accounting, especially in the Power & Infrastructure sectors
- Knowledge of project/acquisition financing
- Knowledge of the Investment Banking sector
