The Lead of Planning & Performance is on the leadership team for Enterprise Marketing & Communications. The Enterprise Marketing & Communications team articulates and directs our strategic marketing communications goals to build brand, reputation and revenue for the business. At the enterprise level, we have dedicated teams to support our functions, corporate initiatives and our executive leadership. This includes strategic communications, brand marketing, customer insights, digital marketing teams promote, events, marketing technologies/operations & analytics, and our strategic creative, in-house agency.

  • Improve the productivity of the Enterprise Marketing & Communications team by helping EMC leadership scale more effectively, drive meeting rhythm, organize feedback and decision making forums, disrupt processes through deliberate project sprints, facilitate positive change management, increase effectiveness of presentations.
  • Drive Enterprise and Divisional strategy and culture and be the voice, working with employees and EMC leadership.
What's in it for you:
  • Define the strategy for information flow across the e Enterprise Marketing & Communications world; understanding the key priorities and leverage a variety of channels to drive communications, reporting and planning cadence across the teams. Ensure elements of the brand and purpose are communicated consistently and broadly in all appropriate channels. Create strategy framework to use across the business.
  • Facilitate growth of the group by developing programs that connect EMC across all divisions and within Enterprise. Set and execute strategy for integration merger driving towards a shared culture and measurement framework. Create programming around key capability development and metric alignment across marketing and communications. Establish common KPIs, metrics and measurement.
  • Optimize leaderships time through meeting prep and follow up, review upcoming meetings and agendas, ensure leaders have information they need to be effective, create needed support documents, track and follow up to ensure key actions are carried out.
  • Connect and support the growth initiatives and the activities in the Marketing Leadership Council with representation from across the business.
  • Support EMC with talent management strategy, in partnership with People and Finance teams, to ensure we are tracking our FTE and other related goals to deliver a positive 1 year experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Planning: Orchestrate a common approach to marketing planning ensuring campaigns are optimized and delivering on objectives. Manage annual, quarterly, monthly demand and service levels for shared services and Enterprise marketing resources. Be a trusted advisor to Enterprise and Divisions in the development and execution of multi-touch marketing plans that deliver measurable results.
  • Operations: Identify opportunities and needs for investment in the Enterprise Marketing & Communications infrastructure, supporting strategies at both levels. Track service level against KPIs and advise on improvement opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build relationships and consult with stakeholders across the Enterprise, Functional and Divisional marketing teams to ensure plans are well conceived, targeted and executed as designed. Enable cross Divisional sharing of best practice and common approach to marketing planning and operations
  • People, Leadership & Culture: Help us build a strong, high performing global marketing planning and operations team with strong succession and bench strength. Develop marketing talent and capabilities to meet future Enterprise and Divisional commercial needs. Provide strategic recommendations and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
  • Solid experience of building, leading and developing global marketing planning and operations teams
  • 5+ of experience in program management or Chief of Staff position
  • Results orientated manager with proven track record of delivering multiple projects and initiatives
  • Strong negotiator ability to negotiate contracts and foster relationships with key suppliers
  • Breadth and depth in experience of data-driven B2B marketing
  • Understands and has experience in operating in a data intelligence environment
  • Strong understanding of and experience in high growth and developing markets
  • Proven track record of collaboration within a matrixed environment across multiple stakeholders to drive business objectives
  • Spark the imagination of others to solve complex problems
  • Independent thinker and operator, able to self-define and move forward ideas
  • This leader should be creative and fearless and very comfortable working with an ever-evolving environment. We are on the search for someone who is willing to challenge the status-quo and promote teamwork, innovation, and alignment in support of Enterprise and Divisional goals

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $107,000 to $222,500 . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
