Technology & Operations is the backbone for both the client lifecycle and the investment lifecycle. The group's Follow the Sun Model ensures that the firm's operations are consistent and efficient across all investment products, client channels and regions, helping to deliver a superior client experience and drive scalability. Technology & Operations is driven by a global network of Operating Centers of Excellence, which centralizes knowledge and equips support teams with the data and timely information needed to innovate and deliver on behalf of internal partners and clients. Enterprise Services fall under our Technology & Operations line of business.

The Enterprise Services (ES) team comprises of five functions:

• Real Estate Portfolio Strategy & Management is responsible for managing the firm's corporate real estate portfolio
• Workplace Planning & Operations coordinates operations within BlackRock facilities, space planning and manages the firm's corporate travel program
• Risk, Resilience and Response is responsible for corporate security business continuity / disaster recovery, crisis management and health and safety
• Executive Operations manages the firm's corporate aviation program, executive protection and provides technology support to key executives
• The COO function partners across Enterprise Services leadership to drive the strategy and execution of ES initiatives

About this role
This role sits within the Executive Operations function, playing a key role in maturing the function through program management, policy development, budget management and overarching leadership support.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Work as point of coordination for gathering functional requirements and translating those requirements into detailed project plans
• Develop and drive the KPIs and metrics for the Executive Operations program
• Support program and policy development within the Executive Operations organization
• Develop executive risk assessment plans based on threat models that are tailored to each executive
• Ensures projects are completed within the estimated budget and established timeline while having the ability to course correct when needed without jeopardizing project completion
• Effectively manage service providers, ensuring an effective risk-based program operating within a developed set of standard operating procedures
• Provides interim leadership support for Head of Executive Operations as needed
• Assists with senior level issues to support the business
• Actively provides feedback, knowledge as well as influence to the Head of Executive Operations regarding process improvement and program management
• Prepare and deliver executive briefings, training and reports

Experience:

• 10+ years of security experience in either law enforcement, military service, and/or corporate security
• Deep technical capability with project management skills, capable of learning emerging technology and crafting plans to support the business
• A solid grasp of core physical security risks and threats, and experience in developing effective and measurable programs
• Be a superb communicator and solid program manager, able to prioritize and advance a number of projects happening simultaneously, often on tight deadlines
• A highly developed network of resources, cultivated through years of establishing relationships in the security industry or government to ensure your efficiency in a wide region with complete geopolitical, cultural, and business environments
• A deep understanding of protective intelligence and demonstrable ability to apply good judgment and use discretion when taking care of sensitive information
• To be able to travel (domestic and international) up to 25% of the time, sometimes at short notice
