**Multiple openings: Automation Test Engineer** - Java / Python / JavaScript - Finance not a must

My client is a UK Multinational Bank. They're looking for a hands-on Automation QA Engineer to join a regional team of 6, working on SIT/UAT of their in-house built equities trading systems. Components involved are ultra-low latency market connectivity and Delta One / Algos applications.

Role

• Ensuring testing efforts are delivered within established strategy and overall maintenance of programs/applications to verify program functions according to established guidelines
• Interacting with Compliance, BAs and QA engineers to gather delivery requirements for building test automation framework and facilitate flawless product deliveries
• Actively managing the test automation effort including the roadmap, task assignments, evaluation, reporting to senior management etc.
• You will be accountable for the overall delivery of the Automation Test Scripts for Delta Electronic/Algorithm Trading Technology
• Working closely with development teams to achieve continuous delivery
• Supporting of Test automation effort across QA, UAT phases of new releases SUT (System Under Test)
• Being accountable for the continuous improvement on stability of test environments by working closely with Development and Support team

Required Skillset

• Solid manual and Java automation testing experience in a complex area (does not have to be Algos or Banking)
• Previous experience with bespoke developed automation solutions - Previous experience in the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated frameworks/test cases
• Experience with Unix log file analysis with de-bugging, Messaging and SQL as part of Server side testing
