Senior ESG Market Data Manager

Your team
You'll be working in the ESG Data team based in London and Zürich, responsible for implementing and evolving our ESG data strategy. As a senior ESG market data manager, you'll play an important role in driving this strategy and help UBS deliver its ambitious ESG goals.

Our team is part of the Chief Sustainability Office (CSO), responsible for the implementation of the UBS Group Executive Board-sponsored sustainability and impact strategy. This includes the implementation of sustainability-related projects such as firm's commitment to Net Zero and Principles for Responsible Banking, as well as engaging with external partners. In your role you'll interact closely with different teams within Group Sustainability and Social Impact area, as well as other UBS business divisions and control functions.

Your expertise
• ideally 10+ years relevant experience of working in the market data / reference data space of a large financial institution
• hands-on experience with market data vendor offerings like Bloomberg, SIX, MSCI, Refinitiv and their commercial/contractual terms (both back-office and display)
• experience integrating and mastering reference data sets of multiple providers
• familiarity with ESG market data sets is an advantage
• self-driven and focused on the details, with a good understanding of the banking industry and the data needs of our clients, client advisors and business lines
• strong communicator, with a collaborative personality and the ability to complete tasks independently
• fluent in English (German is a plus) to support local stakeholder base
