We are looking for Business Analyst - Data Management Office professional to join our New York team where you will work on a variety of projects supporting our Investment Banking clients.

About the role
The scope and nature of the projects on which you'll work will vary however, examples of duties/responsibilities include:
- Provide Technical services for the DMO team to support the following activities DMO performs:
- Data Quality:
- Maintain Data Quality rules in IBM InfoSphere for select processes onboarded by DMO
- Work with DMO Function Leads and their supports to create new Data Quality Rules by interpreting technical details / SQL Queries etc. that would help create logic for capturing data quality issues
- Rationalize Data Quality rules to maintain an up to date list and delete redundant rules based on system's structure
- Troubleshoot IBM technical issues and manage upgrades
- Support DMO production processes on daily basis
- Utilize Manta tool for producing Data lineage automatically
- Technical documentation, Data Flow diagrams, SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, and SSIS packages in order to document Data Lineage manually
- Troubleshoot Manta technical issues and manage upgrades
- Automate DMO function monitoring
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years' experience of working on professional services projects (Ideally for Investment Bank or a Big 4 consulting firm, relevant experience within other professional industries would be acceptable)
- Good knowledge of Banking products
- At least 5+ Years working with Data management tools such as IBM InfoSphere and Manta, implementation of Data Quality Rules, and Manual/Automated Source to Target data lineage
- Advanced SQL Writing skills
- Programming experience in VBA / .NET / C#, Advanced Excel skills
- Good understanding of investment banking organizations, processes and platforms
- Able to operate at both high level and also at low level of detail
- Strong affinity for data and a good understanding of best practice for ensuring high data quality in processes
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with management and stakeholders, business and technology
