Job Purpose:
This is an Asia Pacific Business Management position that will support Citi's rapidly growing Fund Services and Middle-Office Services business. Citi is experiencing significant market momentum within the Security Services industry, and this momentum is fluid by the Funds and Middle Office Servicing at the core.
This role reports to the Global Head of Business Management in Fund Services. The position will drive strategic initiatives allowing the business to continue growing in a controlled and regulated environment.Responsibilities will span globally and include P&L and other commercial goals, as well as working across Product, Network & Regional Management, Sales/CE, Finance, Risk, Operations and Technology.
The ideal candidate should have a proven success record and demonstrate a track record of supporting a complex product set, with a hands-on leadership style. The role requires active people management, problem solving and leadership skills to drive Citi's strategy. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. In addition, the candidate must have excellent verbal and written communications as well as analytics and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Core Business Management Functions
- Partner with APAC Funds management team to ensure the efficient administration of the business
- Manage and improve business metrics and key performance indicators
- Initiate and lead short, medium and long term projects to achieve business objectives. Projects may be related to revenue growth, regulatory or market changes, expense reduction and process improvement
- Contribute to internal and external governance materials and forums focused on business management, commercial, or objectives
- Collaborate closely with In-Business Risk & Controls, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Technology to ensure the smooth functioning of the business
- Drive talent initiatives
- Understand the external and internal performance drivers of each product / function, be able to articulate verbally and numerically the key variables for success/improved performance, and execution strategies
Business Skills
- Demonstrate experience in and understanding of Funds products, clients and services.
- Understand the key financial drivers of the business from top line revenues and expenses and down to the product, region and client level economics.
- Keen analytical skills to link our financial drivers and how to improve our margin through identifying key revenue and expense opportunities

- Understand the importance of technology and operational/financial control to the success of the business.
- Demonstrate ability to manage complex projects and lead cross functional teams without direct management authority.

Required Technical Capabilities
- Strong understanding of the sources of financial and operational data from within the Citi organization

Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience:
- An experienced person who has performed a similar support or business management role for extensive years in a large organization.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry, and Securities Services product in particular, is preferred

- Excellent communications skills (written / verbal) at all organizational levels.
- Results/task orientated with excellent attention to detail.
