My client - a reputable Foreign Corporate Investment bank with sustainable growth in Asia Pacific, offering corporate loans, trade finance, global markets and securities services for institutional clients. They are now looking for a VP to join their APAC Finance based in Hong Kong.

about the job.

Part of the APAC Finance team, you will contribute by performing two key scopes:

50% - Automation Projects Implementation

• Act as a Finance Project Manager to design and deliver system implementations for APAC offices
• Execute automation projects to enhance operations of Finance functions including accounting, expense management, ledger, financial and regulatory reporting
• Work closely with local finance teams on system testing, feedback collection and post-implementation follow-up

50% - Financial Control & Analytics

• Perform financial and costing analysis, cost allocations for branches in Asia Pacific
• Participate in annual and quarterly budgeting, forecasting exercises for submission to Head Office
• Monitor cashflow, RWA and liquidity ratio of the Bank
• Work closely with reporting team on production of management reports upon requests

skills & experiences required.

• Degree holder of Finance, Accounting or related discipline
• Qualified member in CPA
• Minimum 10 years experience in an all-rounded financial control, reporting and project automation role from banking sector
• Strong experience in finance system implementation and project management
• Excellent communication and presentation skills working closely with HO and APAC finance teams
• Good command of written and spoken English
