We are seeking a qualified Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) senior professional to help us deliver our in-house Workplace Health, Safety & Environment (WHSE) program.

Reporting to the WHS Regional Lead, you will be based in Europe and travel regionally to complete field audits, site visits and WHS due diligence activities, working with asset management teams and portfolio companies. Your role will include the review of culture and compliance at our portfolio companies, and performance against our key requirements and minimum standard of WHS workstreams including the provision of Nominee Director WHSE training. Your scope will include ongoing oversight and incident reporting.

You will bring a minimum of 10 years' experience in Health, Safety & Environment, including a minimum of 5 years' field experience onsite, with strong knowledge of HSE management systems, regulations, standards and best practices. Just as important as your knowledge of and experience in both Infrastructure and WHS practices, will be your soft skills, flexibility and willingness to be out in the field, interacting with asset managers and the management of non-financial assets to implement WHS action plans where appropriate.

To be successful in this role, you will be required to leverage your strong influencing skills, gaining stakeholder buy-in and trust when presenting findings and best-practice initiatives. You'll also need to showcase your excellent communication and relationship building skills, as you will need to work with clients across geographically diverse locations, a range of industries as well as levels of seniority.

If you have a demonstrable track record as a WHSE subject matter expert with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholder buy-in, we want to hear from you.
