The Role: Content Manager

The Team: The S&P Global Market Intelligence marketing team is composed of creative and enthusiastic B2B marketing professionals located around the world. As part of the Sales & Marketing organization - with strong partnership to our Product, News, and Research teams - we focus on providing value to clients, building brand awareness, and driving front-end pipeline. The Impact: Working within the content marketing team, the Content Manager is highly interested in content creation and acts as a champion for the customer, ensuring our content is aligned to the buyer's persona, their familiarity and awareness of S&P Global Market Intelligence, and is consistent with our brand voice. They will be managing the production and sharing of engaging, quality content that speaks to our audiences across a range of channels and boosts engagement with our brand.

What's in it for you: S&P Global Market Intelligence's marketers are curious, strong in messaging, and great collaborators with their team and stakeholders. This role will oversee our content sharing technologies, maintain and improve the content library, work with a third party to ensure PowerPoint slide content is designed to company standards, and advise the wider marketing team on brand voice and copy changes. They will be identifying opportunities for new content and ways to maximize the value of existing content, including the maintenance of content on our account-based-engagement microsites.

Responsibilities:
  • Edits and streamlines content. A champion of brand voice and consistency across various formats including ppt, pdf, and websites.
  • Excels in project management and production. Identifies opportunities for improvement, particularly in process management.
  • Partners with content creators to highlight the most relevant and impactful business line content for use on our client and prospect marketing technologies - including Pathfactory and Highspot. Ensures content remains up to date by expiring redundant content and refreshing older content using updated brand guidelines, as well as uploading new content submitted by other team members.
  • Maps content to personas. Understands the needs of the audience and the business at large.
  • Analyzes web traffic metrics to find opportunities for improving content distribution on our account-based engagement websites and prospecting content series/tracks.
  • Ensures consistent global experience and implements appropriate localization/translation strategies.
  • Acts as the primary liaison with a third-party design agency to ensure Powerpoint content is on brand and consistent.
  • Works with compliance team to understand and communicate up-to-date External Communications Guidelines.
What We're Looking For: We are looking for a strong content marketer to work with many stakeholders and marketing teams across segments and global regions; he or she will need to gain an understanding of how our capabilities provide value to our clients, have transferable skills, and an open mindset.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in content management and writing in compliance with brand voice guidelines. Strong written and presentation communication skills are critical, as is the ability to be a strong individual contributor. The candidate must demonstrate their ability to craft compelling customer-centric messaging and be able to develop and manage flows of content through various stages of the production and distribution process.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing or project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Marketing, Communications, English or related field preferred)
  • Experience in writing marketing copy that is customer focused, and consistent in tone and style
  • Strong presentation skills, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment
  • Ability to collaborate with others beyond one's reporting line
  • Hardworking with strong attention to detail
  • Experience working in the finance, software or data industries desirable but not essential

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $65,000- $85,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
