Title: AVP Finance Transformation Project Manager

Salary: $140-170k base, dependent on experience

Location: Nashville, TN - Hybrid Model

Reporting to: VP of Finance Transformation

Summary: A group founded in 2017 that helps insurance companies around the world solve issues such as risk transfer challenges by designing and delivering solutions for legacy life, annuities and P&C lines is looking for a Project Manager. This company is backed by large investment groups and have 3 locations, including an international presence. Additionally, they are mission driven and focus on giving back to the community, providing many opportunities for their employees.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitors follow up items to ensure each item is addressed and closed in a timely manner
  • Develop Voice of the Customer analysis to ensure business requirements are met
  • Identify opportunities and execute on automation of processes and workflows
  • Lead in the development of and tracking of change management initiatives including development of management dashboards and KPI's to baseline and measure Finance efficiency and change adoption
  • Working cross functional to develop strategy and execution of LDTI across the business
  • Oversee the implementation of LDTI guidelines and monitoring the progress of implementation including the improvement, documentation, and execution of processes and controls
  • Enable and automate reporting capabilities for key Business Applications (SAP S/4 HANA, Coupa, and Ceridian Dayforce etc.)

Qualifications:
  • University degree required with emphasis on finance, accounting or computer science
  • Internationally recognized professional accounting designation (CA, CPA or equivalent) with a minimum of 10 years' experience within reinsurance or insurance industry
  • Previous experience in project management, process improvement and finance systems
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Can easily understand various business processes and model them
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, with significant overtime, and ability to meet tight deadlines and respond to changing priorities
