What you will do:

SLC Management is seeking an Analyst on our Portfolio Management team whose primary focus will be to interact with and service investment management clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Investment Management or Financial Services and possess excellent communication & time management skills and strong attention to detail. Experience in Fixed Income is a plus but not necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Effectively manage day to day inquiry from clients and consultants

     

  • Respond to incoming client emails; timeliness and attention to detail are very important

     

  • Work with portfolio management and operations teams to manage client portfolio cash withdrawals and contributions

     

  • Produce and deliver timely and accurate client reports

     

  • Participate in client onboarding process for new accounts

     

  • Work with members of the team to provide portfolio review and analytics for current and potential clients.

     

  • Assist with preparation of presentations and other client deliverables

     

  • Continually looks for opportunities to add value to existing processes

     

 

What you will need to succeed:

 

  • 0-3 years relevant experience in Investment Management or Financial Services

     

  • Strong analytical abilities with a capacity to blend the quantitative with the qualitative

     

  • An ability to work with a diverse range of people

     

  • Client reporting experience

     

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail

     

  • Exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills

     

  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

     

  • Capable of thriving in a fast paced, dynamic environment
