What you will be responsible for:

The Senior HR Analytics Analyst provides analysis and insights to HR and business units to help drive data understanding and promote data-driven talent decisions. Working to analyze and make recommendations to all levels of the business, including leadership, this role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities, strong business acumen and stellar project management skills.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of the Talent Management Analytic strategy. Build interest, understanding and literacy across HR and business functions.
  • Use analytic and general system tools to conduct data analysis and discovery, and identify trends and correlations to uncover insights. Recommend information that should be analyzed based on key indicators, work to determine root cause, and/or identify potential areas of concern.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to bridge the gap between business strategy and data interpretation.
  • Manipulate and manage large data sets to provide information and evidence that will help the business make decisions by providing insights and recommendations. Identify and raise awareness around dependencies; and incorporate design thinking, business needs, and resource capabilities into process recommendations.
  • Create and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders (HRBP's, functional HR team, business leaders, etc.) to understand business problems and effectively communicate data analysis solutions. Serve as translator between data designers and users.
  • Manage individual and group projects comprised of cross-functional teams. Leverage design thinking methodologies to ensure consistent input from end users.
  • Provide data interpretation to identify areas of improvement, perform business analysis, offer potential solutions in a simplified manner.
  • Design audience-specific reports and tools with consideration of visualization principles to share data in an intuitive manner.
  • Define and deliver ongoing dashboards, reports, and metrics to provide actionable insights and inform HR strategy. Develop and maintain reporting standards and criteria, including responsibility for data and reporting integrity out to the business.
  • Create and maintain a data governance methodology to standardize metric definitions, create naming conventions and educate end users in data literacy.
  • Develop and perform training for the HR department and end users on HR systems, including updates and upgrades and related processes. Prepare system training documentation to ensure the proper use of HR systems.
  • Serve as a backup to the HRIS team as needed and maintain continued collaboration. Participate in bi-annual testing.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years experience with HR enterprise systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft or Oracle required.
  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum three year' experience with HR enterprise systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft or Oracle. Experience with designing reporting and related analytics within the Workday environment and using business intelligence tools preferred.
  • Demonstrated abilities using analytical thinking/problem solving skills in identifying issues and providing solutions as required, as well as, the ability to translate comprehensive knowledge of HRIS and its back-end technologies into successful easily understood solutions in a consistent, fast and comprehensive manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with a wide range of internal contacts.
  • Solid organization and time management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
