Team Overview
The Global Accounting and Product Services (GAAPS) division is responsible for providing operational support to BlackRock's portfolio management teams and clients. GAAPS is central to business operations in providing subject matter expertise, monitoring fund administrator service delivery in relation to fund accounting and financial reporting, monitoring operational capacity for new products, supporting projects in relation to product launches and liaising with fund administrators, auditors, fund directors and portfolio managers.

You will have an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment within the Funds Distributor Operations Team that provides operational support for Blackrock Model Portfolios and Third party Financial Intermediary payments.

Your role and impact (build out)
You will have an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment within the Funds Distributor Operations Team that provides operational support for Blackrock Model Portfolios and Third party Financial Intermediary payments.
Your responsibilities
- Work closely with partners (Contracting, Sales, Finance, Fund Accounting, Accounts Payable, Audit) to process third party payments while ensuring contractual terms are properly enforced and audit requirements are satisfied
- Maintain and reconcile Retail and Liquidity intermediary data . This could include researching differences between Transfer Agents, trading partners and fee payment software using Excel/MS Access
- Ensure a robust control environment exists between the fund service provider and internal partners.
- Drive increased efficiency and innovation through continuous review of operating procedures and planning / evaluating technology improvements
- Maintain and reconcile Models Solutions AUM reporting data within core systems. This could include researching information across a variety of data sources from Clients, trading partners and other internal systems
You have:
- Bachelor's degree is required with 2 years of experience preferred
- Major or minor in Accounting or Finance preferred
- The ideal candidate should be fluent in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on advanced Excel knowledge

- A strong attention to detail is imperative with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines with a heightened attention to detail
- Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies quickly by using sound analytical and problem-solving skills
