Position Objectives:

Regional Supply Chain Finance Program Manager, Asia has to act as the regional/global program manager for Citi's Supply Chain Finance Programs under Trade, reporting to the Head of Trade Sales, Asia Pacific. This role is a Vice President level role and will involve interactions with internal functions across geographies and as well as with external clients' buying centres.

Supply Chain Finance is one of the fastest growing products within Trade and provides significant career advancement opportunities. The role will be based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owns the Regional/Global Supply Chain Finance programs as the single point of contact for the client & the internal stakeholders throughout deal lifecycle
  • Create program specific strategy with each client including global/regional/country roll-out, phased outreach to suppliers etc.
  • Manage periodic program reviews with clients
  • Partner with sales for client pitches and structure complex and global/regional deals for seamless execution
  • Lead documentation negotiations with client and coordinate with internal stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate implementation strategy based on booking location, currencies, systems
  • Work with regional & country teams for supplier outreach strategy including pricing
  • Influence client organization to develop aggressive goals and execution plan
  • Set deal revenue targets and execute to achieve asset/revenue goals by deal
  • Manage Global Deal Review approvals (greenlight/final)
  • Co-ordinate with banking and asset distribution on capacity and credit management
  • Drive sales pipeline, support to deliver new mandates and increase share of wallet of existing programs
  • Drive partnership with Dynamic Discounting services provider and drive internal pipeline
  • Support team as back-up to Regional Product Manager and to Regional Supplier On-boarding Manager
  • Drive Citi's ESG conversations for SCF
  • Assist in on-boarding of large suppliers.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of prior work experience in Trade/Supply Chain Finance preferably in a Regional role with hands-on experience of executing E2E set up and management of Supply Chain Finance clients in any country in Asia.
  • Graduate / Postgraduate qualification preferable


Knowledge/Experience:
  • Client facing background with strong performance track record of driving growth.
  • Deep knowledge of the SCF and other Trade products
  • Track Record in negotiating client documentation and client account management.

Skills:
  • Strong Client Management skills
  • Strong communication & leadership skills are essential.
