Product Manager | Banking and Cash Solutions - Securities-based Lending

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our team at Ameriprise! As a Securities-based Lending Product Manager, you will support business initiatives related to growing and supporting the margin and pledge lending books. This role will be responsible for supporting securities-based lending projects, Experienced Advisor Recruiting, process and control execution, new loan business, and the ongoing development and maintenance of securities-based lending product solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Experienced Advisor Recruiting (EAR) to help analyze and onboard outside loan portfolios
• Partner with internal and external sales teams to drive growth and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on sophisticated securities-based lending cases
• Help handle and be responsible for the strategic road map, and assist in the creation of business strategies to grow the loan portfolio and improve the client/advisor experience
• Support the development of new product offerings and improvements
• Assist in the formulation of communication and marketing strategies related to driving product uptake and penetration
• Ensure ongoing adherence to securities-based lending procedures and controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years financial services experience
• Series 7 (or ability to acquire within 120 days)
• Ability to influence and collaborate with or lead across the organization and at all levels to get results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data to identify trends and issues and potential ways to take on the issue.
• Advisor or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of a wide array of Financial Services products (i.e. brokerage, equities, mutual funds, margin lending, etc.)

• Project management experience
• Experience with Securities-Based Lines of Credit
• Understanding of the advisor recruiting process
