Investment Associate / Manager, Private Equity & Mezz Investing

Our client is a global, alternative asset manager with over USD $17bn AUM. With a long-established presence in Australia and an experienced team in place, they are currently seeking to hire an Investment Associate or Investment Manager to join their Investment team in Sydney who will add value to the already successful and well-credentialed team. Having recently raised fresh funds, they are well equipped to actively investment across both private equity and mezzanine opportunities. As hands on investors who seek a collaborative relationship with Boards, they cover a broad range of sectors and look to deploy meaningful stakes in attractive businesses.

As an Associate / Manager you will play an active role in the end to end investment process and will provide sound structuring and financial analysis / modelling skills to the team as well as the ability to clearly and effectively communicate investment ideas, present to investment committees and work with a diverse range of clients.

Successful applicants at the Associate level will have likely gained 2-4 years experience in either corporate finance or top tier management consulting and candidates at the Manager level should ideally have gained investing experience in addition to corporate finance / consulting experience. At both levels candidates must display strong financial literacy and modelling skills and should be confident communicators.
