Mining Private Equity - Analyst - Melbourne

This is a specialist, resources, private equity manager combining significant investment and operations expertise and a strategy allowing the seasoned team to identify and invest in global mining assets at various stages of the mining life cycle.

An Investment Analyst is sought to be based in the Melbourne head office. Your role will be to support the investment team to identify and assess investment opportunities, developing financial and commercial analysis, participate in all stages of transaction execution, including vendor, equity and debt discussions and evaluate macro environment and industry developments.

You will have at between 1-3 years' experience of Corporate Finance, ideally but not essentially in the mining sector. This experience may have been gained in an investment bank (M&A/ project finance), in an accounting firm, an investment role or from within a corporate. You will be passionate about making the leap into private equity and demonstrate strong critical thinking and thoughtfulness.
