Our client is one of the world's largest alternatives investment platforms with over $450 billion USD AUM and one of the longest standing alternatives investors globally. The firm's principal investing strategy has always been one of their main drivers of success and they are looking to strategically build and grow their network of LPs across the alternatives business which covers, amongst others, Private Equity, Growth Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, Real Estate and Hedge Fund strategies.

To help facilitate and drive this focus, they are looking to hire a Vice President, Distribution to join their team in Sydney. You will work directly with the Managing Directors of the Alternatives business and have responsibility for managing capital raising initiatives for all alternatives products and portfolio solutions alongside a full suite of sophisticated institutional investors.

Specifically, your principal responsibilities will include:

• Responsibility for capital raising across alternative products in the institutional market

• Building, developing, and maintaining relationships with existing institutional clients and prospects across alternatives and representing the firm at industry events

• Design and manage strategy-specific engagements from investing clients on private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, secondaries and GP stakes; working alongside product strategy teams and firm-wide investment teams

• Manage all aspects of the due diligence process on behalf of our investing clients

• Contribute to thought-leadership and content-generation initiatives relating to alternative investment strategies, portfolio construction, and new client approaches for the 2020s.

You will have excellent academics (tertiary qualifications, CFA highly regarded, adviser compliant) and 8+ years' experience gained in blue-chip financial services environments and display the following:

• Proven ability to develop and manage institutional investor relationships and due diligence, through engaging directly with CIOs and Alternatives strategy leadership

• Prior experience in Alternatives and Private Markets is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of and high degree of intellectual curiosity on alternatives investment strategies.

• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with different deadlines.

• Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills.

• Motivated self-starter with excellent work ethic.

You must have full working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
