DATA PERFORMANCE ANALYST POSITION

Company Description

Genter Capital Management ("Genter Capital") was founded in 1968 for the express purpose of managing investments using the common stocks of large and medium capitalized corporations, government fixed income, and investment grade corporate and municipal fixed income. The firm is a Registered Investment Advisor under the Investment Advisors Act of 1940 and has been continuously and actively engaged in the investment management business since its inception. The firm delivers its investment strategies via Separately Managed Accounts (SMA). Genter Capital employs over 60 employees and has assets in excess of $6 Billion. The firm is privately held.

Position Summary

The Data Performance Analyst position in the Institutional Division is a multi-faceted role based in Los Angeles that will span the areas of Sales and Client Support, Marketing, and Investment Management. Specific duties include:

• Complete from start to finish Request for Proposals/Information (RFP/RFI) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ), with submission deadlines, aimed at retaining existing business and acquiring new business.

1. Cross departmental interaction as needed
2. Manage review process with other Institutional Department team members and Compliance Department for final submission

• Complete from start to finish monthly, quarterly, and/or annual update requests, with submission deadlines, for databases, platforms and major consultant firms.

1. Databases – perform updates both manually and using eVestment Omni Source product
2. Cross departmental interaction to complete reporting requests as needed
3. Manage review process with other Institutional Department team members and Compliance Department for final submission

• Generate monthly and quarterly reports and obtain data using FIN, Black Diamond, Bloomberg, Inter Departmental sources, etc.

1. Complete RFI, RFP, DDQs and reporting requests
2. Monthly updates to Genter Capital strategies and indices performance spreadsheets
3. Distribute monthly performance and characteristics reports

• Manage and organize continuing education (CE) applications and Genter Capital CE program.

Background Description

Ideally, we are seeking an individual who is currently employed at an asset management firm, who is currently in the financial services industry, or who possesses a passion for the investment business. Ideally, candidates will have the following attributes:

• Fixed Income and/or equity experience

• A passion for the investment management business and for learning

• Proven analytical and technical skills

• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and client support

• Strong organizational skills

• Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills

• Problem solving abilities

• Detail oriented, meets deadlines and executes responsibilities with minimal errors

• A willingness to contribute outside the confines of the daily role
