We are looking to appoint an equities portfolio manager into a high performing investment team that takes position across both public and private markets.The investment group has an outstanding reputation for sustainable wealth creation via high quality growth investments and agile money management strategies. The group is located in Sydney and considered a significant player in the Australian private investment landscape.

The equities portfolio manager will be responsible for all sector allocation, direct securities research and portfolio management as well as trading. The strategy will be all caps, all markets and very high conviction, typically best of bread ideas.There may be the option to look at pre IPO investments alongside listed, should this suit the investment mandate. Candidates of interest will be those individuals with portfolio management experience from either a dynamic high conviction long only manager, a global hedge fund or fundamental proprietary trading desk and bring a minimum of 8-10 years portfolio management experience.

This role will work closely with the Managing Director and Director of Investments within the business. It is a very exciting opportunity to join a business in need of true money management expertise and work with a truly flexible listed investment mandate.
