Job Description

Role
Reporting to the Senior Director, Quantitative Strategies as part of the Quantitative Research and Analysis team (FIGEX), the incumbent's main responsibilities will include playing an active role in improving investment processes and building portfolios by developing analytical models and tools (portfolio construction, estimation of risk factors and performance assessment).

Role
Reporting to the Senior Director, Quantitative Strategies as part of the Quantitative Research and Analysis team (FIGEX), the incumbent's main responsibilities will include playing an active role in improving investment processes and building portfolios by developing analytical models and tools (portfolio construction, estimation of risk factors and performance assessment).
Main responsibilities
- Develop industry expertise to be able to make recommendations regarding investment processes and portfolio construction;
- Develop and test new tools that could be used for portfolio optimization/steering and the quantitative assessment of managers and risk factors.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience;
- Private equity and credit knowledge is an asset;
- Master's or PhD in quantitative finance, mathematics or information technology;
- Excellent programming skills using Python and SQL (or other languages such as C++, C#, Matlab) and ability to organize results (Tableau, Power BI);
- Excellent knowledge of financial mathematics and ability to apply theoretical models.
