About this role

Your team:

The Global Product Group brings innovation, discipline, and focus to the firm's investment product line by aligning client and investment teams in the design and execution of product-related initiatives.

GPG's Product Management and Strategy teams create and oversee the product agenda for each asset class by anticipating and responding to evolving client needs. Today, this is happening as the market environment, competitive landscape and regulatory picture are evolving to present exciting opportunities across Institutional and Retail channels in the US, Latin America, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions.

Your role and impact:

We are searching for a Vice President to help drive product strategy, platform and range management and product commercialization efforts. Successful candidates will possess knowledge of and/or experience working in one or more traditional or alternative investment asset classes.

This is a multifaceted, high-profile role that requires frequent interaction at the most senior levels of the firm to change the face of our product set. The successful candidate will be an indispensable partner to our investment product strategy and distribution pillar leaders in optimizing commercial outcomes over the longer-term. You will benefit from inclusion in a large, globally diverse team, with access to a broad range of skills and expertise that contribute to a deep understanding of client motivations, strategy development and fund structuring across regions and sales channels.

Your responsibilities:
  • Crafting and implementing global asset class and regional product platform strategy aligned to firmwide priorities alongside partners on distribution and investment teams
  • Conducting competitor, market and fund range analysis to assess the health and saleability of products and, where appropriate, recommend changes to improve commercial appeal
  • Challenging ideas for new product development, wrapper innovation and seed capital allocation through evaluation of client needs, market growth drivers and regulatory environment
  • Defining the asset class product agenda by mapping, guiding, and tracking products throughout their lifecycle and helping to set annual sales targets for key focus products
  • Authoring thematic content on market trends impacting the Institutional investor market and offering "best ideas" for implementation in portfolios
  • Curating external-facing marketing materials and sales activation resources for relationship management teams


What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree (MBA, CFA a plus)
  • 6+ years' prior experience, preferred in asset management, corporate strategy, client portfolio management, product marketing, sales management, or institutional fundraising
  • A relationship builder with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong data analytics and visualization skills are crucial
  • Demonstrated ability to lead sophisticated, cross-functional global projects
  • Self-starter with strong integrity and ethics and a high degree of creativity
  • Familiarity with industry data sources (Morningstar, Broadridge, eVestment, Preqin, etc.) a plus
