Overview
The Project Analyst role is an integral role in the Standard Client Reporting team. The team is responsible for managing the production of the standard client reports. Responsibility spans from initial establishment of report content to assigning reports and packages to client accounts and overseeing the monthly and quarterly production cycles. The role interacts heavily with Client and Product teams to facilitate all package requirements are configured after a client's inception. The Project Analyst role is also responsible to facilitate the production of all standard client reports including ensuring all reports are generated each reporting period. In addition, the role provides on-going support to internal groups responsible for the distribution of client materials and interacts heavily with IT and data teams to trouble shoot any issues identified during the reporting periods. When new standard client reports are needed, the role is responsible for working alongside Product Management to gather business requirements to ensure clients receive accurate reporting. Additional responsibilities include testing enhancements made to existing processes and ad-hoc analysis on reporting needs. Given the importance of the work the Standard Client Reporting team is focused on, additional projects and responsibilities will be added as required.

Responsibilities
The Project Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Create and set up of new account reporting packages, including data reports and client letter configurations
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure all reporting requirements are configured in account packages; may include outreach requesting new reports not available within existing system
  • Create and submit list of all accounts requiring reporting on a monthly/quarterly cycle
  • Maintain and ensure full list of all letter reporting requirements are documented on an on-going basis
  • Provide on-going support to Client and Product Reporting Teams during monthly and quarterly reporting cycle.
  • Conduct analysis for issues identified during reporting cycle working alongside the data team and IT to trouble shoot and find solutions to meet client deadlines
  • Work with natural language generation vendor to adjust and edit automated commentary logic when needed
  • Provide oversight and training to India team colleagues on on-going basis. Will include review of tasks transitioned and ensure documentation is updated as team needs evolve and change.
  • Identify areas for process improvement as new technology is employed firm wide
  • Collaborate with Product Management to create and set up new approach letter templates
  • Document letter template requirements for IT to use for their build out of new approach set ups
  • Conduct testing and provide feedback prior to releasing new approach letter templates
  • Host Quarter End Meetings with Client and Product Teams including creating agenda items for discussion and distributing meeting notes.
  • Maintain and update procedures and documentation
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Strong academic credentials with 1-3 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, client reporting experience preferred
  • Understanding of financial data and terms
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and on multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Possess a can-do/will-do attitude and desire to provide support in fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to be a team player, a high level of professionalism and maturity, ability to cultivate relationships with internal departments
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders responsible for the creation and distribution of standard reports
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, think creatively, promote solutions, and communicate risks in existing workflows
  • High level of organization needed
  • Project management experience not required but is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
