Join a team of committed risk experts

You will join our Market Risk Management team which is the focal point for allocation of market risk capital to trading teams, covering the tasks of monitoring, reporting and advising on the market risk exposures across the entire value chain. We have the dual function of both guarding the company against undesirable exposures and partnering with our business to create value. We are a team of committed risk experts with diverse backgrounds and nationalities, all keen to continuously learn and develop.

Number cruncher with an interest in the energy business
As our new quantitative analyst, your primary task will be to ensure that Danske Commodities (DC) handles risks related to our renewables business transparently and efficiently. As such, you will collaborate closely with our renewables business, enabling you to directly influence DC's direction in the energy transition. We imagine that the right candidate enjoys crunching numbers and is able to turn quantitative data into concrete risk metrics as well as implementing and coding solutions to reports. You should also have an interest in the energy business - perhaps you have experience within the industry from either risk management or trading. No matter your level of experience within the field, we will make sure you will get the best possible offtake to embark on this journey with us.

Take part in developing our future renewable risk management strategy
Starting out, you will get a thorough introduction to the team, your tasks, your primary stakeholders and our risk management framework in DC. Your first task will be to get familiar with our renewables business and the responsibilities within this business area. On the longer term, you will play a significant role in developing our future renewable risk management strategy and be accountable for executing the deliverables related to the strategy. In other words, you will play a key role in defining the best-in-class risk management framework for the renewables business area.

"You will experience how you can turn your skills and experience into tangible value for our business - right from the get-go" - Janne Pekka Väisänen, Manager, Head of Market Risk Management, Power & Certificates.
