JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Investment Support - Working closely with the front office team to provide any financial and operational support on any new or existing investments under the funds' portfolio. This is including ongoing monitoring of existing investments, assessing any valuation, tax, compliance (AML/KYC), and accounting impact of new standards. Any prior experience instructuring of funds will be highly beneficial and advantageous.
- Reporting - Review and approve the monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) reports, Quarterly investor reports, capital statements and other management accounting reports as required for the various funds and investment manager.
- Operational Support - Oversee cash management, timely settlement of invoices & investments including public securities and private deals. Ensure corporate/fund and transactional documents are properly executed and filed (softcopies and hardcopies).
- Set up and administer operational requirements in relation to all investments/transactions inan effective and efficient manner.
- Process capital calls & distributions including preparing fund documents and coordinating payments for expenses accurately and timely.
- Tax - Manage processes including annual tax filing and FATCA/CRS filing with the relevant authorities particularly in Singapore & Cayman Islands.
- Audit - Manage and facilitate annual external audits, internal audit and otherad-hoc audits of the funds and the investment manager.
- Any other ad-hoc projects or tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting, Business or Finance. Chartered Accountant preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in a financial institution or asset management industry (specializing in Private Credit and Private Equity). Prior experience in a Big 4 Audit Firm (Financial Services), Fund Administrator and/or Fund Accounting role in a Buy-Side Private/ Alternative Asset Manager with Private Equity and Private Credit is preferred. Familiar with settlements and treasury functions, and preferably, loan administration.Experience in leading or managing a team.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency with both written and spoken English. Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point skills are essential.
