Responsibilities:
  • We are currently executing MVS 2.4 and CICS 5.5 across several environments.
  • Executing RACF, Top Secret and ACF2.
  • A new product that is being introduced into our environment is z/OS Connect. Familiarity would be helpful
  • Knowledge in Assembler, COBOL and/or REXX for
  • Expertise with the following: z/OS, CICS,TSO, JCL, SMP/E, REXX, Java, VSAM, Control-M, CPSM, VSAM Replication, VSAM RLS, IPCS, CAFC, Macro4 Products and Intertest.
  • Proven analytical, diagnostics, and problem-solving skills, and a desire to assist others in solving complex technical issues.
  • Advising management and peers on technical strategy and solutions.
  • Working across groups to identify opportunities for organization-wide technology initiatives.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt and thrive to meet the needs of a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Passion to provide guidance on standard methodologies and mentoring support to the other Systems Analysts within the team
  • Following Best Practices. Service Now Suite (Change System, Incident Reporting, Problem Management, Knowledge Base, MOOGSOFT , Xmatters )
  • DevOps (Modernization ) experience .
  • Designs, implements, integrates, and provides full support for complex software in a multi-tiered, multi-platform environment.
  • Identifies and solves complex and critical systems related issues to meet the objectives for the corporation.
  • Assists with complex issues in the installation, support, troubleshooting, and repair of data centre equipment.
  • Collaborates and consults with application development teams to determine middleware platform selection, efficient transaction design, use and recovery procedures in line with business requirements.
  • Manages ticket queues and handles complex escalated issues.
  • Analyses repeat incident patterns to identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity enhancements.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred 8 - 10 years of related infrastructure experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
