S&P Global has entered an agreement to divest LCD to Morningstar. The close of the transaction is anticipated to be early Q3 2022. It is expected that this role would be part of the divestiture transaction and would be transferred to Morningstar.

The Role: The role involves being one of the main contacts of clients in providing them support on maximizing the use of the Leveraged Commentary & Data (LCD) product. On a day to day basis, the Associate's time is spent responding to clients' questions and requests about the websites (, the news and data related to broadly syndicated markets & indices, communicating with research, news editors, sales, account management, and product specialists.

The Team: LCD has more than three dozen journalists and analysts providing news and research on the leveraged finance markets to 80,000 plus subscribers worldwide. We are a leading information provider whose success hinges upon producing a premier data and research product. Our team is based in New York and remote locations in the USA, while other LCD teams are also located globally.

The Impact: Associates have tremendous impact on the experience our clients have with the product, directly affecting the client's perspective of the quality of the company as a whole. Since the Associates are in direct contact with clients, they also have the opportunity to relay feedback to the company and understand the needs of the clients which is valuable to the development of the product.

What's in it for you: Associates are trained to be experts in using the product, and given that they receive on a day to day basis feedback from clients, they have a good opportunity to explore roles in the research/content and product management/content side of the operations. Since they have client interaction experiences as well, they also have a good position to discover opportunities in account management and sales. Lastly, a good grasp and exposure to the leveraged lending sector allows them to understand and become an expert in a dynamic industry, as well as develop analytical skills and research abilities.

Responsibilities: The Associates are our link between the end-user and our product. Combining an expertise in our product with a deep understanding of who our clients are and how they use our tools, Associates provide the highest quality support. You will assist our clients with the following tasks:
• Functionality - Associates consult with our clients by phone or email, on the best and most efficient way to achieve quality results.
• Problem solving - providing solutions to meet our clients' needs, assisting in locating and understanding our data.
• Relationship development - we are the advocate for our clients, we take ownership of their concerns/needs/questions and work to help them to understand and rely on our product.

What We're Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
• Overall successful candidates are fast learners with a strong interest in financial markets, especially the syndicated lending sector. We're also looking for individuals with:
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Experience with developing excellent relationships, with clients ranging from interns to CEOs
• Ability to be an independent self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Must be willing to work in New York City office location.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Working knowledge or at least a keen interest to know more about the syndicated lending markets, economics, accounting principles and practices, the analysis and reporting of financial data
• A degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000- $75,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to receive additional benefits including:
