About the Role:
My client is seeking a Sales executive who will assist; sector heads, managing directors and the sales team with professional and efficient sales support.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast faced paced sales environment with tight timescales. The ideal candidate must bring a can-do attitude to the role.
As part of the position the candidate will be required to coordinate meetings for the team via email and telephone, they must also prepare pre-pitch research and documentation and follow up with post pitch information.
This position is integral to the sales team and the successful candidate can expect fast a career progression if they work hard and hit their targets
You will be assisting in creating high quality; contract, proposals, supplementary service schedules and addendums and pitch presentations, of which will be utilised by the sales team. You will then be required to assist on the follow up once received by the client.
You will be required to assist in the schedule of meetings and logistics for any sales meetings, these will include pitched, results meetings, events etc.
You will be assisting in the timely collation of pre-pitch info for the sale team, this may include: gathering shareholder analysis and research company background data from Bloomberg, Thompson and company websites.
You will be asked to prepare documentation for weekly sales meetings, attend meetings and make action points along with creating follow up.
You will input prospective clients contact details into Salesforce (CRM System) and ensure that client wins and activity is kept up to date.
You will be contacting prospective clients through calls and email.
You will be the first point of contact for all sales enquiries and be expected to handle those professionally and escalate them when necessary

Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbally
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Outlook, Excel, Word
