Under the supervision of the team manager, the Candidate is responsible for all the administrative events management related to the functions assigned to ensure the timely and accurate process of the underlying client's instructions. The Candidate is an integral part of delivering quality service to assigned clients and all actions must be considered as part of this overall goal. Achieving quality of service is a team effort and the Candidate needs to function at all times as a team player.

SSGS gives asset owners and managers access to the essential financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions. From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions for Italian mandates.

What you will be responsible for
As Fund Accounting - Associate 1 you will
  • Process the administrative instructions received
  • Follows up with client for instructions authorization and ensures processes are made timely.
  • Maintain standard filing of instructions package and reports.
  • Fill in the daily checklist accordingly with the activities performed.
  • Maintain the daily mandate management package
  • Prepare standard audit package
  • Ensure that the instructions received are compliant with State Street policy
  • Analyze the instructions exceptions and act accordingly to resolve with the responsible parties the exceptions in a timely fashion.
  • Monitor exceptions resolutions and solicit resolutions details to the responsible parties

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Accountancy or Business related degree (preferred);
  • Excellent Italian (written/spoken);
  • English proficiency (written/spoken);
  • Numeracy / Literacy skills;
  • PC literate and competent in use of spreadsheets and word processing.
