Your key responsibilities:
  • A trusted senior point of contact for Trade Finance service team escalations and resolution of complex issues
  • Service Manager for clients on day-to-day trade finance and lending-related activities
  • Servicing clients:
  • Focal point for advisory related matters between clients and Trade Operations (Delivery Hub India), eg: setting up of non-standardized Trade transactions (e.g. Wording for Guarantees)
  • Work closely with sales/product/solution specialists to ideate solutions, participating in pre and post proposal client discussions
  • Performing checks on limit, tenor etc to ensure that transactions can be accommodated adequately
  • Pricing under a defined framework with Sales. Examples include:
  • Actively contact adopted clients to maximize level of credit line utilization.
  • Regular engagement with clients on Export LC confirmation and discounting opportunities including working with TFFI sales on credit limit request via OLC system (including Distribution team if required)
  • Identifying potential up-sell and cross sell trade finance opportunities
  • An important subject matter expert externally and internally. Main internal stakeholders include Trade Finance operations, Credit Risk Management, Legal & Compliance, Relationship Managers, Regional management & product affiliates
  • Undertake Transaction Monitoring and KYC due diligence to ensure compliance with both regulatory and audit standards
  • Champion Trade Platform Implementations & Services (Including Supplier Onboarding)
  • Drive continuous process improvement activities leading to operational efficiencies
  • Your skills and experience:
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in the trade finance industry
  • Extensive experience in working with oil and other commodities clients
  • Team leadership experience, or experience demonstrating readiness to take on a senior role within team
  • Experience required at Letter of Credit / Bank Guarantee, including proficiency in UCP600, Incoterms 2010, URDG 758
  • Strong trade finance product knowledge, including Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantees, Financing products, Structured Trades, Financial Supply Chain, KYC
  • Basic analytical skills, ability to exercise flexibility with regards to practical problem solving
  • Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams and a matrix organization
  • Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirement applies.
