We are currently working with a leading US-based Venture Fund founded by a phenomenal team of investors. Having rapidly deployed their first fund they have recently completed their first investment from their larger second fund . As such this is a highly exciting time to join the well capitalised team and be instrumental in deploying this second fund and beyond.
The investment team at the Fund has previously led rounds into some of the best known global consumer and internet companies including, HelloFresh, Delivery Hero, N26, BlaBlaCar and many others. The portfolio and track record is stellar.
The fund typically leads investments with equity cheques ranging from $5 - 70mn at Series A - C. They have a concentrated portfolio of high conviction investments who they work extremely closely with (often leading further funding rounds).
40% to 50% of the first fund was invested into Europe and they are keen to double down on this strategy. An Analyst or Associate joining the team will spend the majority of your time working on Pan-European deals but also work on North American investments too. There is currently one Senior Investor in London (with two more investors joining in the next few months) who you would work closely alongside. Their ethos is to internally promote and there is lots of upward mobility with a true path to Partnership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source and screen prospective investments
- Review business plans
- Assist in performing due diligence on potential investments
- Research market trends and dynamics
- Help firm-wide on key operational activities / events / presentations
- Full time work experience in investment banking (M&A), venture capital / growth capital or consulting
- High level of exposure to transactions in Technology
- Proficiency with operational / buy-side model building and with growth equity and buyout investment structures
- Fluency in French and a network in France highly desirable
- Highly analytical, organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Positive attitude, team player, open-minded and not ego-driven
- Strong interpersonal skills (High EQ and IQ)
