The Corporate Salesperson is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify sales opportunities that address corporate client needs and managing from identification to point of sale and through post trade process
  • Develop trusted relationships with clients to drive revenue growth and greater product penetration
  • Work closely with the Sales Cluster head, Markets Head, eFX Solutions and Risk Management Solutions teams to build and deliver strong FX capability with HK and China based clients.
  • Interface with Bankersto enhance share of mind with clients, increase FX dialogue and to deliver markets expertise.
  • Originate and execute meaningful and landmark transactions
  • Capable to conduct cross border and cross functional collaborations to deliver innovation solutions to clients
  • Understand and analyze clients' businesses and exposures to provide best suited sales solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners
  • Partner closely with other key businesses and functions to ensure proper product deployment based on understanding of client
  • Leading strong governance and controls
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles with proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships through value added service and commercial skills
  • Good understanding of corporate treasury management cycle and KPI.
  • An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communications skills

Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
